The School strongly believes that student data serves as a valuable means to assess the quality and effectiveness of the instructional delivery in the classroom as well as student learning.

Through effective implementation of the Florida Continuous Improvement Model (FCIM), student assessment data will be used to replace subjectivity with a focus on results. Administrators and teachers will collaborate to review data through the lens of the FCIM and modify instruction accordingly.

FSA Requirement

In accordance with Section 1008.25, Florida Statutes, retention is mandatory for third grade students who do not score a Level 2 or higher on the Grade 3 FSA for English Language Arts, unless exempt from mandatory retention for good cause as indicated in paragraph 6(b) of 1008.25, Florida Statutes.

Lesson Planning

To capture daily instructional data, online lesson planning software will be used. The data will be stored in a database for administrators and teachers to disaggregate and use at any time during the year.The new Florida Standards will be embedded into the lesson planning software, allowing teachers to fill needed gaps or provide enrichment based on the online data.
